- For Single breasted Jacket/SuitButton the jacket correctly: When standing, button the bottom button of your jacket. However while sitting, unbutton the bottom button.
- For Double Breasted Jacket: Only the top button of a double-breasted jacket should be buttoned.
Keep the jacket closed in formal settings: In formal settings, such as business meetings or weddings, it is considered good etiquette to keep your jacket buttoned.
Match the jacket and pants: Your jacket and pants should be made from the same fabric and have a similar color and pattern.
